The "cottage"
In our last four slo-pitch games, we've beaten the 3rd place team, the 2nd place team and the 1st place team, in addition to being totally drubbed by the last place team. What gives?!
Still, we know we can beat anyone in the league, which is a good place to be in as the playoffs approach. That's the weekend of August 18th and 19th, so keep your fingers crossed that we put in a decent performance!!
In the meantime, however, it's off to Pender Island to relax and visit friends who have a weekend home there. I've seen the city home of these fellas and it's absolutely fantastic, so I'm really looking forward to checking out the "cottage" on Pender.

No way! We just spent a week on Pender at Ainslie Cove (South Pender) with Scott & Lisa. That was the tail end of a 2-week trip through BC (Okanagan, Whistler, Squamish, Pender) and I'll apologize right now for not contacting you. I'll also blame Chantal as she forgot her cell phone at home!
