The first night since Friday that I don't have houseguests sharing my wee teeny tiny studio apartment. The first night since Friday that I can sleep without hearing the breathing of four other people. Simple, satisfying pleasures make me happy.

I know that I'm extremely lucky to have choices available to me, because not everyone does. I try not to take that privilege for granted and am gonna do my best to live, love and laugh my way through this existence.

Rex, you're right on the money! Love 'em all to death, but boy was it good to have some personal space again. No more closing the bathroom door, no more ducking into the kitchen to change into my bathing suit, no more drunken tremors as I suffered blog withdrawals.

Dan: if only! Nobody in bed last night but l'il ol' me. While I tried my best to conjure up the newly-single Mr. Pitt to share a bedtime story with me, he never materialized and I was left to play solo once again. Good think I like my own company!
